Mina's Fish House

I love to go to Mina's Fish House to celebrate special occasions. The view is so pretty, the food is delicious, and the service is amazing.
Amuse - Siu Mai

Garlic & Duck Fat French Fries

I absolutely love Mina's Signature Duck Fat Fries (which you can find at other establishments of Chef Michael Mina).  They come with three dipping sauces: Volcano Onion Ketchup, Dijonnaise, Tartar Sauce.  They are addicting!
Smoked Marlin and Maui Onion Dip
We were given this dip compliments of the house.  It was very tasty!

Soy-Glazed Pork Belly
Ono Tataki

Chili Miso Glazed Black Cod

I had the Black Cod, or Butterfish.  It had a pleasant kick to it from both the Chili Miso and the Garlic Wasabi Cream.

Sesame Roasted Half Chicken

Charred Broccolini

Filet Mignon

SPAM Fried Rice

The SPAM Fried Rice was a meal in itself!

Despite devouring nearly everything, we still made sure to get dessert.

Dark Chocolate Mousse

The Dark Chocolate Mousse was my fave of the desserts - cocoa streusel, salted caramel, and Kona coffee ice cream.  Such a decadent treat!
Warm Malasadas

I'm not much of a Malasadas fan, but I loved these.  They were perfectly sized and had just the right amount of sugar - I didn't even need to add the caramel sauce or strawberry guava gel.
Mango-Strawberry Shaved Ice
The Mango-Strawberry Shaved Ice was so refreshing!

The food was outstanding, and our server was Ryan, a Fish Sommelier, and he was awesome.

It was another memorable dining experience at Mina's!

Elevate Your Spa Day at Naupaka Spa at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Koolina

The Naupaka Spa at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Koolina has been a long time favorite of mine. Most recently, I treated myself to a massage, but decided to elevate my experience by booking it at one of their 3 outdoor and private hales.

I really do love the outdoor massage experience because it feels you are immersed in nature. The hales are secluded so they are very peaceful. I would highly recommend trying out your next massage at one of these hale.

Another special experience the spa offers is the "Spa Under the Stars" which treats the couple to an after-hours experience in a candle-lit oceanfront cabana. You'll enjoy your massage treatments to the backdrop of the ocean waves followed by a private stargazing experience. Sounds absolutely amazing!

Happy Hour at Mina’s Fish House

We kicked off our weekend staycation with happy hour at Mina’s Fish House located at the Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina. Happy hour is daily from 3pm to 5pm.

We tried a few items and loved them all. If we had to choose, our favorites were the Fish House Hot Chicken and Mina’s Fish House Ahi ‘Poke’. The kids also really liked the toasted garlic hummus that came with the wood-fired lafa bread. Lauren was especially obsessed so we picked up some traditional hummus from the island country market that same night for her to enjoy!

Fish House Hot Chicken is not spicy hot, but temperature hot. Very flavorful.

You can’t go wrong either the Garlic & Duck Fat French Fries

Mina’s Fish House Ahi ‘Poke’ with Maui Sweet Onion, Ogo, Garlic-Wasabi Aïoli

Wood-Fired Lafa Bread with Toasted Garlic Hummus, Mint-Feta Yogurt. Life changer for my daughter.

La Hiki Brunch for All Seasons at Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina

Brunch for All Seasons is back at La Hiki at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, but with a twist.  Because of the pandemic, you can now enjoy a fabulous Prix Fixe Menu.

I was fortunate to snag a reservation on Mother's Day thanks to the wonderful team at Four Seasons. I never dine out on Mother's Day (primarily due to crowds), but this year, I was excited to go, because if I learned anything from last year, it's to take advantage of any opportunity given to you, because you never know if you'll get that opportunity again.

Strawberry Lemon Scone & Chef's Choice Amuse Ahi Lemongrass Trap with Miso Yuzu Vinaigrette

The 1st course was a nice way to start the meal.  I loved the scone - it was probably one of the best I've had anywhere!
Chilled Seafood, Chef's Poke of the Day, Sashimi, Oyster, Cocktail Shrimp, Chef Sauces

The 2nd course was a seafood-lover's dream.  I thought this plate alone would be enough to make anyone full, but there was even more to come!

Crab Benedict, Lemon Bearnaise, Bacon, Duck Confit Fried Rice, Prime Rib, Lobster with Lilikoi Butter

The 3rd course was what I was looking forward to the most.  At most brunch buffets, I go straight for the savories, and this course was reflective of what I would select.  Talk about an indulgence - prime rib, lobster, crab benedict... needless to say I had to box up some of the items.  It was a lot of food.

Chef Selection of Dessert Trio: Raspberry Cream Puff, Chocolate Tulip Cup, Strawberry Shortcake

But I still had room for dessert, of course.  I love that dessert was a trio of small bites.  If I had to choose a favorite, it would've been the Cream Puff, but each dessert was delightful.

A kids Prix Fixe is available (same courses, generally smaller portions), or a separate keiki menu is offered ($16, includes fresh fruit amuse, entree, and dessert).
Triple Decker PB&J Sandwich

Cheeseburger

Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich

Chocolate Banana Pudding

I didn't realize until we got home that the kids weren't served the Fresh Fruit amuse, which is served with all meals, but despite that oversight, they were very satisfied with their meals.

Service was great, and I definitely anticipate going back to celebrate more special occasions.

Hokulea at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina

If you're looking for a quick and easy bite while at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, Hokulea offers a variety of grab-and-go eats to satisfy.

We decided to pick up some pastries for breakfast since we had a late brunch.  They had a nice assortment, including Blueberry Muffins, Chocolate Muffins, Banana Bread, Pain au Chocolat, and Malasadas.

The treats were perfect to hold us over until our early afternoon brunch reservation.

In addition to the baked goods, you'll also find Buddha bowls, wraps, sandwiches, yogurts, and more.

Noe at Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina

Noe at Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina is one of my favorite restaurants on the island, and the best Italian restaurant on the island, in my opinion.

Chef Ryo's handmade pasta dishes are just simply amazing, and our family was so fortunate that the Four Seasons team was able to squeeze us in on a busy weekend despite my procrastination in making a reservation.

Upon being seated at our table, a bottle of hand sanitizer was left on the table for use, and we were able to scan a QR code for the menu.  Our server promptly came by to tell us what the specials were, and he made us feel right at home.

We were given the first of many plates of delicious Focaccia.  We could not stop eating the bread (my boys especially!).
Burrata

To start, we had the Burrata, which was drizzled with Noe's exclusive extra virgin olive oil.  It sat in a chilled tomato consomme, and was topped with Ho Farms tomato.  It was so delicious - if I didn't have to share with the family, I think I could've indulged in the entire dish myself!  The creamy burrata was only elevated with the olive oil and consomme.

Noe Signature Tagliatelle

The Noe Signature Tagliatelle is my must-order.  I've had this before, and I'll probably keep ordering it every time I go to Noe.   This pasta dish exemplifies that quality ingredients can create such an amazing, yet unfussy dish.  Ribbons of handmade pasta, Parmigiana Reggiano, and black truffles combine for one of the best dishes I've eaten all year.

Three Cheese Ravioli

My husband ordered the Three Cheese Ravioli, which was a special that day.

I was celebrating my birthday, and I was presented with a delicious S'mores Cake!  What a treat!

Lemon Crostata

Had I not been surprised with the complimentary birthday dessert, I would've ordered the Lemon Crostata, which my husband ended up ordering.  If you like tart, you'll enjoy this dessert, which came with a honey creme fraiche.

Kids meals are $16, and include a fruit amuse, main entree, and a dessert!

Strawberries

Hawaiian Pizza

Skirt Steak & Frites

Rigatoni with Parmesan Herb Sauce

Cannoli

Chocolate Budino

Service was excellent, as always.  This was our first dine-out experience as a family, and we were truly made to feel at home.

I already can't wait to return!
