Scratch Kitchen Kapolei will celebrate its official grand opening on May 2nd at 1pm with live entertainment by Typical Hawaiians with the following exciting promotions:

From 1pm - 4:30pm, every patron over the age of 18 dining at Scratch Kitchen Kapolei during this time will receive a complimentary $25 gift card valid on a return visit from May 3 on (proof of age may be required). Patrons must be in line by 4pm to qualify. From 5pm - 8pm, the smoked prime rib will be a dinner special for just $19.95. No reservations accepted, as this will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Scratch Kitchen Kapolei is located in Ka Makana Alii next to the food court. They will be offering new dishes exclusive to the Kapolei location such as the Gumbo Pot Pie, Fried Chicken Plate, and Smoked Prime Rib.

Dinner at Scratch Kitchen Hawaii

Cider Braised Pork Belly and Apple Pasta

It's been awhile since I dined at Scratch Kitchen at Ward Village, but my friend was craving their Pinky Pasta so we decided to have her birthday dinner there. The menu has lots of options complete with your favorite comfort foods like their House Burger, Loco Moco, or the Country Gravy Fried Chicken Biscuit. Whatever you get, don't forget to order their famous Crispy Brussels to start.

Scratch Kitchen & Meatery Summer 2019 Brunch Menu

I'm usually at Scratch Kitchen & Meatery prior to the brunch menu starting (at 10:30am), but I needed to try the Jimmy-chan-ga on the brunch menu - Scratch's take on a chimichanga.  I order chimichangas whenever I go to Mexican restaurants so I knew I was in for a treat!

Jimmy-chan-ga

A tortilla was stuffed with carnitas, cheese, and potatoes and deep fried, and topped with house queso and pico.  It was accompanied by bacon-braised beans and a sunny egg.

It did not disappoint!  It was so tasty, and just full of flavor.

BC Burger

My husband ordered the BC Burger - a beef patty topped with a fried egg, smoked bacon, spiced tater tots, won bok kim cheese, and a spicy aioli.

I am terribly sad that the Haupia Creme Brulee French Toast is no longer on the menu (although I was told it is offered on Sundays), but I'm hoping it makes a comeback!
