Mugen Waikiki Bento Takeaway

Mugen Waikiki offers a weekly bento for $20.  This week’s bento included melt in your mouth BBQ Ribs, Japanese Potato Salad, Local Greens, Chilled Soba, Salmon Battera, and Aburi Rice.  My friend and I picked up the bento and then walked across the street to enjoy them on Waikiki Beach.  I highly recommend this activity!

Takeaway is available Tuesday through Saturday, 11am – 6:30pm.

To place your order, call 808-377-2247 at least 45 minutes ahead.

Seoul Tofu House 20% Off Curbside Pick-Up Deal

Seoul Tofu House offers one of the best meal deals around - 20% off curbside pick-up!  This means you pay just $11.72 for a complete Soondubu (Tofu Soup) set!

You can choose from a variety of flavors, such as beef, kimchi, ham and cheese, pork, and more!

Each set comes with rice, nori, and side dishes.

It's a lot of food for a great price, and the tofu soup is hearty and tasty!

Just the soup alone is so filling, but with the sides, one could easily share!  I had enough leftovers for another meal!

You can also pick up $5 soju bottles through curbside!

TBD... To-Go

I was invited to try TBD...'s new To-Go menu, which features Comfort food, Immunity Boosters, and Family Meals.

I ordered the Mac & Cheese, Mushroom Risotto, and TBD... Bento from the Comfort section, and the Chicken Curry and Pork Curry "Vindaloo" from the Immunity Booster section.

The comfort food classics did not disappoint.  My kids loved the Mac & Cheese, and I thought the Mushroom Risotto was tasty (they did not skimp on the mushrooms!).

The TBD...Bento consisted of Falafel, Hummus, Smoked Eggplant & House Made Flat Bread.  It was a meal in itself!

I LOVED the curries.  The Chicken Curry was my fave of the two curries, but the Pork Curry "Vindaloo" was also very good.  They were both so flavorful, and are ayurvedic meals, which incorporate spices that help to boost your immunity.

The entire meal was fantastic!
