Visit Fargo: Scoop N Dough Candy Co.

Our ice cream stop in North Dakota was at Scoop N Dough Candy Co. in Fargo.

Mint Chocolate Chip

Pirates Bounty

Big Muddy
Superman
One of my kids got Superman - a mix of blue raspberry, cherry, and vanilla ice creams.  It makes your tongue turn blue!

Pirate's Bounty was full of all sorts of yummy mix-ins - cookies, candies, and more!

Big Muddy was big on chocolate, and so rich and creamy!

Another one of my kids decided to get Cookie Dough.  They offer all sorts of flavors!

Visit North Dakota: The Boiler Room

While in Fargo we met up with some friends for lunch at The Boiler Room for pub eats and drinks.

Scotch Eggs
Barbecue Glazed Meatloaf

Crab Cake Sandwich

Shepherd's Pie

Cheesy Tot Basket
Creamy Tomato Soup

I indulged in a variety of bites.

The Scotch Eggs were really good.  The sausage had a bit of spiciness to it, which I enjoyed.

Of course I couldn't resist the Tots - they were crispy with lots of cheese in the middle!

The Shepherd's Pie was a huge plate of ground beef simmered in Guinness gravy, combined with corn, peas, and topped with whipped potatoes and cheese.

The Boiler Room was a great place to catch up with friends over good food and drink!

Visit North Dakota: The Woodchipper at Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center

If you've seen the movie Fargo, then you'll recognize the Woodchipper.  The original Woodchipper is showcased at the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center.

I did see the movie, but I probably hid my face during that scene.

You'll also find the original Fargo screenplay, as well as other Fargo memorabilia, at the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center.
The kids kept busy with puzzles while we took a restroom break.

Outside is a replica of the woodchipper, a celebrity walk of fame, and a painted bison (you'll see a lot of painted bison throughout Fargo).

Be sure to stop at the Visitors Center once you get to Fargo!

Visit Fargo: #FargoMarioWall

Take a walk through Fargo, and you'll come across lots of public wall art.

One such mural is the #FargoMarioWall.

This fun mural is located in the alley behind the Pickled Parrot. My kids love Super Mario, so we thought it would be neat for them to take a photo and pretend they were part of the game.
