Visit Tulsa: Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store

Braum's is an ice cream shop / fast food restaurant based in Oklahoma, with numerous locations throughout the state (and in other surrounding states too!).

It was our first meal and ice cream stop while in Tulsa.

Chicken Strips

I had Chicken Strips.  Paired with Braum's Dipping Sauce - it was a quick and tasty meal!

Chicken Strips Dinner

The Chicken Strips Dinner came with fries, country gravy, Braum's Dipping sauce, a roll, and a cookie!

Deluxe Bacon Cheeseburger

Frozen Yogurt

M&M Sundae

Cappucino Chunky Chocolate

Peanut Butter Cup

PB and chocolate is my fave combo, so of course I got the Peanut Butter Cup ice cream!

Braum's also sells groceries, so it's really a one-stop shop!

Be sure to visit while in Oklahoma!

Family-Friendly Dining at Bravo Restaurant

Bravo Restaurant at Pearlridge continues to be a very popular family-friendly eatery.  On a recent visit, we got there at opening time, and the line was already out the door!
The complimentary garlic rolls are hard to resist.   Ask for a side of the garlic sauce to drizzle onto the rolls, or even onto your pizzas and pastas!
Meatball Sandwich

Three Sausage Pizza

Bravo Melt
The Bravo Melt has been a fave of mine.  This lunch special comes with a side of either fries or pasta salad.

Kids meals are very reasonably-priced, with the most expensive dish, the Chicken Parmigiana, at just 6.99.
Kids Cheese Pizza
The Kids Cheese Pizza is just $3.79!

Death by Chocolate

Banana Chocolate
My favorite dessert is Death by Chocolate - it is so rich and decadent!

The pie of the day (from Anna Miller's Restaurant) was Banana Chocolate.

Service was prompt and friendly, and the food was great!

Visit Boston: Legal Sea Foods

Legal Sea Foods is one of the most popular chain restaurants in Boston.  We dined there two years ago, and even though we try to visit new places whenever we travel, we knew we would end up with a satisfying meal, so we dined there again - this time at the Copley Place location.

Turns out - we ended up ordering nearly the same things as our first visit.
Hot Lump Crab Dip
Although my Hot Lump Crab Dip didn't come out first - in fact it came out last, after everyone was just about done with lunch, I still enjoyed it.  The dip came out bubbling hot, and I just loved the creaminess!
Lobster Bisque
I thought the Lobster Bisque was good, but not as good as one that I had tried a few days earlier at a different restaurant.
Crabmeat Roll
 A kids menu is available.
Cheese Ravioli with Red Sauce

Macaroni & Cheese
Despite my dip being "forgotten," service was really great, and we were satisfied with our meals.

Visit Boston: World of Beer

The weather was bad one day in Boston (the first ice storm I've ever experienced), and we ended up going to CambridgeSide so we could spend some time indoors.

We ended up having lunch at World of Beer.

$5 Monday Special
On Mondays, World of Beer offers a special - just $5 for a burger and a side!
Beer Cheese Nachos
I ended up ordering Beer Cheese Nachos and added Green Chili Chicken for extra.  The nachos were pretty basic, and the chicken was cold, which I thought was a little odd.

A kids menu is available, with everything just $5 (meals include a drink).
Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Mac & Cheese
Service was fine, and the food was too.  I'm sure beer drinkers would enjoy the place more than non-beer drinkers.  I'm just happy World of Beer provided a respite from the crazy weather for a bit.

Visit Salem: Turner's Seafood

While in Salem, we visited Turner's Seafood.  We visited the location in the historic Lyceum Hall, and it turned out to be my favorite restaurant during our holiday vacay.

Caesar

Lobster Bisque
I opted for the Soup and Salad Combo.  I chose the Award-Winning Lobster Bisque for my soup, and the Caesar for my salad.  The Lobster Bisque was amazing, and the best thing I ate during the entire trip.

It was so creamy, so flavorful - I slurped up every last drop.  You could top it off with lobster meat if you wish, but I thought it was perfect the way it was.  I wish I ordered a bowl of it!
Lobster Roll
The Lobster Roll was pricey (market price was $27).
Crunch Salad

Portuguese Fish Stew
 A kids menu is offered.
Kids Grilled Salmon

Kids Mac & Cheese
Turner's Seafood was very crowded. We were lucky our party of 7 was seated without a reservation.  I'd highly recommend a visit if you love seafood, and I'd definitely recommend making reservations.

Visit Boston: Bliss Restaurant & Ice Cream Shop

Our first ice cream stop in Boston was at Bliss Restaurant & Ice Cream Shop.

This busy eatery serves local comfort food eats, and some of the best ice cream ever!

Battered Onion Rings

New England Clam Chowder
I opted for Clam Chowder and Onion Rings.  The Clam Chowder was good, and the Onion Rings were too, but unfortunately something happened with my order of Onion Rings, as I didn't get them until nearly everyone was done with their meals.
Bliss Special
The Bliss Special included Vermont cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion.
Tuna Melt
A kids menu is offered, including a side, a drink, and a sundae!
PB + Fluff

Mac & Cheese
I also learned that in New England, milkshakes are known as frappes!
Strawberry Frappe
The ice creams were so yummy!
Campfire S'mores

Extreme Chocolate

Salted Caramel Chocolate Pretzel
I had Salted Caramel Chocolate Pretzel.  It was the perfect combo of sweet and salty!

Despite how long it took for me to get the Onion Rings, I still thought Bliss was a great place to dine.

Visit Boston: Bella Luna & The Milky Way

Our airbnb host suggested Bella Luna & The Milky Way as a great place for pizza, so we decided to check it out!

I originally intended to just share salad and pizza with my husband, but when I saw poutine on the menu, I just had to order it.  I LOVE poutine!
Bella Poutine
The Bella Poutine included truffled fries, smoked cheddar cheese curds, bacon gravy, and aioli.  So good!
Kale Caesar
The Kale Caesar was really good as well.  I loved the tangy lemon caesar dressing!
The Latin Quarter and The Fun Guy
The original pizza we ordered was a special of the day, and one of the ingredients was no longer available, so we ended up getting The Latin Quarter (chicken, avocado, cheddar, bacon, jalapeno) and The Fun Guy (garlic oil, wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, gorgonzola, mozzarella, truffle oil).  Between the two, I liked The Fun Guy so much more.  I love mushrooms and onions!

A kids menu is offered.  Drinks are included.

Kids Rice Bowl

Kids Macaroni & Cheese
Bella Luna & The Milky Way was a great recommendation!

Visit Boston: Briggs Corner Pizzeria

We lucked out when we arrived at Briggs Corner Pizzeria.  We immediately got a table for seven on a very busy night.

House Salad

Seafood Stuffies
The Seafood Stuffies were quahogs filled with seafood stuffing.

Fish and Chips
The Fish and Chips included a single, gigantic piece of fish!  The Cole Slaw earned lots of compliments.

Chicken and Rice Soup

Texas Fries
The Texas Fries were loaded with bacon, cheese, and ranch dressing.
Kids Chicken Fingers and Fries

Kids Pasta Alfredo

Kids Cheeseburger with Fries
There is no dessert menu, but instead a display case of desserts which you have to go up to to see what's available.
Red Velvet Cake

Turtle Cheesecake

Tiramisu
We ordered the Turtle Cheesecake and Red Velvet Cake, and our server gave us the Tiramisu by mistake and just let us have it.

The Red Velvet Cake was really good, but I loved the Turtle Cheesecake.  It was creamy and rich!  I didn't try the Tiramisu since I'm not a fan.

Service was not the greatest, and I thought the food was just okay.  I did really enjoy the desserts, and if I were ever to go back, it would be to order take-out desserts.
