Visit Vancouver: Cactus Club Cafe

One of the chains I'd frequently see throughout Vancouver is Cactus Club Cafe, and we had dinner there on our first night in Vancouver.
Panko-breaded Chicken Tenders

Crispy Yam Fries with Garlic Aioli

Pesto Chicken Quesadilla
Mini Burgers  - topped with Cheddar, Alder Smoked Bacon, Red Pepper Relish
Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bar

Unfortunately Cactus Club Cafe does not have a kids menu, but they do suggest menu items for the kids, such as the Mini Burgers and Chicken Tenders, which were two of the items we ordered for our family to share.

I had the quesadilla, which I thought was quite good.  The combination of pesto, chicken, and sundried cranberries was an interesting combination.

The Yam Fries were really yummy, and my favorite part of any meal - dessert - was AMAZING!

The Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bar was delicious and decadent.

Although they don't have a kids menu, they do, however, give kids coloring sheets and crayons.  I think it's still a family-friendly restaurant, and the service was really good.  I'd gladly take my family back (and I'd be more than happy to go just for the dessert!).

Visit Vancouver: Triple O's by White Spot

While in Vancouver we wanted to try Triple O's by White Spot, a fast-food chain that can be found all over British Columbia.  Fortunately, there was a Triple O's right inside the Science World at TELUS World of Science, where we were visiting one day.
Spicy Ultimate Crunch
Cheddar Bacon Burger
Kids Dippin' Chicken Meal

Kids Grilled Cheese

Kids Fries
Kids Drink
Chocolate Gold Coins
Everything was great.

I had the chicken sandwich, which was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and it had a little spicy kick.

Everyone else loved their meals, and I thought the kids meals were reasonably-priced, even though milk and juice cost a little extra.  My kids loved being able to eat the chocolate coins at the end of their meal.

Service was prompt and friendly, and I love that this Triple O's was conveniently located on the premises of Science World.
