Visit Kona: Kaiulu Lounge at Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay

During our stay at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay, we had access to the Kaiulu Lounge (select rooms come with Club Lounge access, or you may upgrade your resort experience for a fee).

The Kaiulu Club Lounge offers guests an Enhanced Continental breakfast in the mornings, as well as Appetizers and Drinks in the evenings.

You can select from eggs, sausages, cereals, fruits, yogurts, and more each morning.

During the evenings, we munched on pizzas, skewers, veggies, chips and dips, meats, and cheeses.

In the evenings cookies are also offered!
Coffee, waters, juices, and soft drinks are available for guests to enjoy, and in the evenings guests can also opt for wine and beer.

You can get quite filled up on all of the offerings each day, which saves you time and money.  It's so convenient to just go to the lounge to grab a bite, sip on a drink, or eat a full meal's worth of food.

The spacious lounge overlooks the ocean, and not only can guests go there to eat and drink, but they can use the computer station, watch TV, or read the newspaper.

Guests have access to the lounge from 6:00am to 11:00pm daily.

Visit Kona: Rays on the Bay

During our stay at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay, we dined at Rays on the Bay for dinner.

The restaurant recently completed a $400,00 renovation, which included new flooring and updated decor.

Rays on the Bay focuses on the use of "local ingredients with an international flair," and the restaurant offers spectacular sunset views, as well as Manta Ray viewing!

Flat Bread

Chili Cheese and Fries

Crab Cakes

Macadamia Nut Chocolate Cup

Banana Upside Down Cream Pie
We were not very hungry for dinner, so our family shared a few dishes.  The Flat Bread was topped with tomatoes, garlic olive oil, basil, and mozzarella.  The kids loved it!

I couldn't stop eating the fries, which were topped with housemade chili and served with cheese curds.

I loved the Banana Upside Down Cream Pie.  If you love banana cream pie, you'll really enjoy this light, yet very delicious dessert.  I especially liked the crumbled pie crust that was sprinkled on top!

The Macadamia Nut Chocolate Cup was pure decadence, with a nice salted caramel flavor.

Service was good, and Rays on the Bay was a really nice place for dinner!
