Moani Island Bistro & Bar

I recently had lunch at Moani Island Bistro & Bar, a new eatery in Ka Makana Ali`i (at the former Moena Cafe space).

Classic Loco Moco

Karaage Chicken
The Classic Loco Moco was a bowlful of comfort food - loco moco, mac salad, kim chee, and lomi tomato.  Delish!

The Karaage Chicken was drizzled with a spicy aioli.  I thought the pieces of chicken were a little too large and chewy, but the overall flavor was good.

A keiki menu is offered.  For $10, kids 10 and under can choose an entree, and the meals come with a drink and dessert.

Vanilla Gelato

Service was excellent, and I really liked this new, family-friendly option in Ka Makana Ali`i!
