Visit Dallas: Ked's Artisan Ice Cream & Treats

While in Texas, we stopped at Ked's Artisan Ice Cream & Treats in Plano for a sweet snack.

They offer homemade treats in exotic flavors, focusing on Indian cuisine (Plano has a huge Indian community).  They even offered a taro flavor, which I since learned is a very popular ingredient in India.

I had a delightful Sea Salt Caramel Crunch ice cream.

My kids got Faloodas, which is an Indian dessert made with syrup, vermicelli, and ice cream.

Chocolate Falooda
The Chocolate Falooda had house malai (a type of cream), rice noodles, basil seeds, chocolate and hazelnut ice cream, pistachio, almonds, and chocolate syrup.
Mango Falooda
The Mango Falooda had house malai, rice noodles, jello, basil seeds, mango ice cream, pistachio, almonds, rose milk, and mango syrup.

The dessert reminded me of the Filipino Halo Halo!

I'm so glad we stumbled upon Ked's!
