Visit New Jersey: The Bent Spoon

Cashew Salt & Pepper / Peanut Butter Cookie
I was eating dessert at a restaurant, when someone at the table mentioned ice cream from The Bent Spoon.  Being the ice cream lover that I am, and the fact that the ice cream shop was still open and just a short walk away, I couldn't resist going!

This artisan ice cream shop crafts delicious ice cream in a variety of flavors, both familiar and unique, using quality ingredients.

The Peanut Butter Cookie was my fave of the two - made with all natural PB and PB Chocolate Newman Organic O's.  I loved the huge chunks of cookies.

Look at the huge chunks of cookies!

The Cashew Salt & Pepper was quite a unique flavor - it definitely had some kick from the organic black pepper.

The Bent Spoon offers a number of flavors each day, and they also serve vegan options.

The line was long, but moved fast, and I'm definitely happy I decided to eat a second dessert and try The Bent Spoon.
