Adela's Country Eatery

I can always count on Nat to give me the scoops on a lot of new eateries, especially ones on the Windward side.  She was one of the first people I knew of that went to Adela's Country Eatery when it first opened, and the restaurant has steadily grown in popularity since opening.

One of Adela's specialties is their Fried Chicken.  It is really some of the best fried chicken I've had anywhere.

Their Fried Chicken box (full or half sizes) comes with Hawaiian Sweet Bread Toast, Cole Slaw, Fried Mozzarella, and your choice of sauce.  The box is more than enough to feed your fam.

We also decided to get other dishes, including Adela's popular housemade pastas.  I got the `ulu pasta with portobello mushroom.  So delish!

The House Fried Rice was full of BBQ pork, lupcheong, shrimp, eggs, and veggies.  It was so full of flavor, as was the Local Fried Saimin, which had kamaboko, green onions, cabbage, carrots, and topped with egg.

Adela's also has desserts!  I opted for the Mango and Guava Cheesecakes.  They were on the light side in terms of texture, but still so yummy!
