One of My Favorite Japanese Restaurants - Restaurant Kuni

One of my favorite places to go to for Japanese food is Restaurant Kuni in Waipahu.

Tsukemono, Moyashi, Salad, Miso Soup
Makunouchi Bento

Chicken Katsu

Chicken Teri

Kids Chicken Katsu

Tofu Steak
I opted for the Chicken Teri & Chicken Katsu Teishoku.  I just love the Chicken Katsu!  Tender slices of chicken that are perfectly crispy on the outside - so good!  The Chicken Teri is just full of flavor.

The Makunouchi Bento consisted of Beef Teri, Mahi Tempura, Chicken Teri, Namasu.

All of our meals came with Miso Soup. The Teishoku and Bento also came with Tsukemono, Moyashi, and a Salad. Keiki meals come with Mac Salad, French Fries, and a Drink.  For the kids meals, keiki can choose from any of the Teishoku items - beef teri, shoyu pork, shrimp tempura, sashimi, to name a few.

The food is consistently good (I usually order the same thing every time - check out a post I did in 2010!), and so is the service.
