Family-Friendly Dining at Flour & Barley - Brick Oven Pizza

Our family recently had lunch at Flour & Barley - Brick Oven Pizza in the International Market Place.

My husband and I shared the Chicken Wings and the Aloha Pie.

Aloha Pie
The Aloha Pie consisted of mozzarella, Maui gold pineapple, SPAM, smoked bacon & calabrian chiles.  I liked the thin and crispy crust, and the pizza had a nice kick to it from the calabrian chili, which is the same type of chili used to glaze the chicken wings.  I thought the wings were great, and that the pizza overall was good, but I'd definitely want to try other pizzas in the future.

Dessert selections were minimal - gelato, sorbetto, a boozy float, cannoli, and tiramisu.

We decided to get the cannoli.
Cannoli
I can't remember the last time I had a cannoli, but I thought the cannolis, which were filled with a ricotta-mascarpone cream and garnished with crushed pistachios and mini chocolate chips, were delightful!

Kids meals are just $9, and include a drink and gelato.  The options were pizza, spaghetti, or chicken, and all of my kids opted for the pizza (one got pepperoni, two got cheese).

The pizzas were nicely-sized, and each kid took home half for leftovers.

Service was friendly and efficient, I'd definitely return for another family meal!
