Visit San Francisco: Toy Boat Dessert Cafe

We originally stopped at Toy Boat Dessert Cafe for lunch, but after perusing the menu, my kids didn't see any favorable options, so we went elsewhere for lunch, and returned for dessert.

Toy Boat Dessert Cafe offers a lovely selection of desserts, but we specifically went back for the Double Rainbow San Francisco-made ice cream.

The ice cream is so expensive!

A kids cup - the size of those teeny tiny bath cups, is $3.50! A single (small) scoop was $4.25.

The ice cream, although very pricey, was very delicious (and I thought the single M&M's on the kids ice cream was a cute touch).

I had the Sea Salted Chocolate Caramel.  It was rich & creamy with chunks of caramel throughout the ice cream.

Besides the high prices for the ice cream, another turn off was the unfriendly service.  The person assisting us with the ice cream was just not pleasant at all.

Toy Boat Dessert Cafe is a cute & kitschy shop - with toys displayed all over the walls, but next time I'd go elsewhere for ice cream.
