Top 10: 2016 Favorite Waikiki Breakfast Spots

Having staycationed in Waikiki several times over the past year, our family has gotten to eat at a lot of great breakfast spots.

In celebration of National Breakfast Month this month (and because breakfast is my favorite meal), here are my top 10 favorite Waikiki Breakfast Spots (does not include buffets) from the past year:

1. Hula Grill Waikiki (Sweet Potato & Chorizo Skillet) - A gorgeous view accompanies a fabulous breakfast!
2. Mac 24/7 Waikiki (Kalua Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict) - Love that breakfast is served all day here!
3. Cream Pot (S'mores Souffle Pancakes) - Pricey, but service is exceptional in this charming eatery.
4. Cinnamon's at the Ilikai (Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes) - Having grown a huge following at the original Kailua location, the Waikiki location offers the same tasty fare and great service, but with a bonus - views overlooking the marina.
5. Wailana Coffee House (Farmers Omelette) - Super cheap breakfasts, including an all-you-can-eat pancakes deal for under $8!
6. Giovanni Pastrami (Giovanni's Haupia French Toast) - Another restaurants that serves breakfast all day!  I'm not a fan of sweet breakfasts, but the Haupia French Toast is amazing!
7. Lulu's (The Waikikian Omelette) - Generous servings at a great price.  You can even dine while gazing at the ocean!

8. Keoni by Keo's (Smoked Bacon & Mushroom Omelette) - This Thai restaurants serves up tasty American breakfast fare!
9. ShoreFyre (Strawberry Kiwi Pancakes) - Limited seating so get there early, or be prepared to wait for a table (but it's worth it)!

10. Musubi Bento IYASUME (Bacon, Egg, SPAM, & Cheese Musubi) - Instead of eating bacon, egg, SPAM and cheese with rice on a plate, you can eat everything on the go wrapped up in a musubi (and it's very inexpensive too!).
