Aloha Hour at Restaurant 604

On Sunday our family went to the recently-opened Restaurant 604.

Fries with Blue Cheese Crumbles and Bacon

Coconut Shrimp

Crispy Calamari

Kalua Pig Nachos

Spring Rolls

Linguine Butter Pasta with Parmesan Cheese

Mac & Cheese with French Fries and Carrots

Aloha Hour is from 3pm-6pm daily, and the deals are awesome! There are several appetizers offered for just $5 - Calamari, Kalua Pig Nachos, Hummus, Spring Rolls, and Coconut Shrimp. We ordered all the $5 apps with the exception of the Hummus, because I wanted to get Fries!

I was a little suspect at the cheap prices, thinking maybe the serving sizes would be really small, or the food would not taste good.

But my husband and I were very impressed with both the portion sizes as well as how great everything tasted.

My fave of the Aloha Hour apps was the Spring Rolls, which were stuffed with veggies.

The Coconut Shrimp was served with a Pineapple Chile Vinaigrette. They were perfectly cooked, but a little too coconutty to me.

I really enjoyed the Nachos - Tortilla Chips topped with Kalua Pork, Cheese, Pico de Gallo, and a Chipotle Sour Cream.

The Calamari was yummy, especially dipped in the accompanying Remoulade.

I loved the Fries - such and indulgence topped with Blue Cheese Crumbles and Bacon!

Keiki Meals are just $6.95 and include a drink. The meals are generously-sized. Two of my kids took home lots of leftovers (although they did eat a lot of the apps as well).

Restaurant 604 does offer a few desserts, however, all of my kids opted for Uncle's Handmade Ice Cream Sandwiches. They all picked Cookies & Cream Ice Cream on Dark Chocolate Cookies, which were presented drizzled with chocolate and caramel.

Our server was super friendly and accommodating, and service was great overall.

The restaurant is open-air, and because we dined on the day Tropical Storm Darby passed over the island, it was pretty humid, but thankfully there was a nice breeze, and a pretty view!

I definitely want to go back again soon for Aloha Hour!
