Cold-EEZE Review

I am a total germaphobe because I hate getting sick.  Life is just better when you are not sick and able to tackle whatever is thrown your way with a clear head and a healthy body.  But of course, it's inevitable and there will be times when the common cold will get you when you're most vulnerable.  When I don’t get enough rest, I am especially susceptible to catching a cold.  I'm glad to have Cold-EEZE products on hand that will help get me back on my feet faster.

Cold-EEZE is the #1 pharmacist recommended zinc cold remedy.  The homeopathic cold remedy is made with a unique zinc gluconate formula.  Their lozenges have been clinically proven by the Cleveland Clinic (1996) and Dartmouth College (1992) studies to shorten the duration of the common cold by almost half.

In the past, I had used Zicam’s intra-nasal products to shorten my colds, but stopped when those products were recalled.  Cold-EEZE products were not affected by the recall.

You can take Cold-EEZE anytime you start to feel cold symptoms.  The other night I thought my throat felt a little funny so I made sure I didn’t have an empty stomach and dissolved a Cold-EEZE lozenge in my mouth.  The honey lemon lozenge had a great taste and also worked to soothe my sore throat.  You need to let it completely dissolve and not chew the lozenge.  I’m a little impatient so I decided to try Cold-EEZE’s oral spray for my next dosage.  You spray it twice in your mouth, hold for 15 seconds and swallow.  The natural cherry flavor was decent, but I liked that the treatment itself was quick.

This season Cold-EEZE introduced a new product called the Cold Remedy Plus Natural Multi-Symptom Relief Cold and Flu QuickMelts.  It not only shortens your cold, but it also contains additional active ingredients that provide natural multi-symptom relief of cold and flu symptoms such as cough, chest congestion, and sore throat.  I’m going to make sure to keep those in my medicine cabinet to combat flu season later this year.

The only con I can think of is not being able to give these to my children, especially my preschooler who gets sick the most often.  Cold-EEZE has been studied and shown to be effective in adolescents and adults (aged 12 years and over) and does not have studies confirming effectiveness and safety for children under the age of 12.

What’s great to know is that if you are not satisfied with the results from taking Cold-EEZE, you can contact them to receive a full refund of your purchase price.  There is a lot I can do to keep myself and my family healthy, but when a cold does hit I am confident that using Cold-EEZE will help me fight off the cold virus much quicker.

Complimentary products received for review purposes.  All opinions are my own.
