Furikake Wasabi Chicken Recipe

Remember that Furikake Wasabi Salmon recipe?  I love using it on chicken too (I actually prefer the chicken over the salmon)

Normally my husband bakes the chicken, but this time I decided to deep fry pieces of chicken, and it turned out delicious!

Furikake Wasabi Chicken

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 c flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 2 c Yoshida Original Marinade & Cooking Sauce
  • 1/2 c Nori Fumi Furikake (more or less based on your preference)
  • 1/2 c mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 t wasabi paste
Directions:
  • Dredge chicken in flour, then egg, and then flour again, and deep fry until golden brown (approximately 5-6 minutes)
  • Dip cooked chicken immediately into sauce until coated
  • Place chicken on a plate and sprinkle furikake over chicken
  • Mix mayonnaise and wasabi paste until combined
  • Drizzle over chicken
