Cholo's Homestyle Mexican Restaurant

The very first time I went to Cholo's Homestyle Mexican Restaurant, a few years ago, it was for lunch, and I ordered a Chicken Quesdadilla.  A few minutes later the server told me they ran out of chicken!  And it was 11am in the morning!  I ended up ordering a Veggie Quesadilla, but I just couldn't believe they ran out of chicken!

It took me years to go back again, but I believe in second chances, and I'm so glad I've gone back, because I think Cholo's is now one of my new favorite Mexican Restaurants.

Complimentary Chips & Salsa (free refills)

Chicken Chimichanga
Shredded Beef Enchilada and Chicken Taco

The food was DELICIOUS and the servings were huge!

We were rather disappointed when we found out that there's no kids menu, but it actually turned out to be a good thing cost-wise, as we ordered a single cheese quesadilla for all the kids to share.  It was a large serving of 4 pieces, and at just under $5 to feed all 3 kids - that's a great deal!

Service was great, and despite not having a kids menu, we'll still be back.

I'm already craving another chicken chimichanga from Cholo's...
