Visit London: Lockside Camden

We were looking for somewhere to eat at Camden Market, and after seeing all of the dining pods full of people (and messy), we decided to find a restaurant to sit down and eat in.  Lockside Camden was just a quick walk from where we were, so we found a seat, and proceeded to order.

Potato Croquettes
I shared a couple of appetizers - the Potato Croquettes and the Pigs in Blankets, with one of my kids.  They were okay - nothing extra special.

Everyone else enjoyed their meals, and if I went there again, I would order the Cotswold Chicken Schnitzel.  It looked so good!

Everything is done online, from ordering to payment, and you don't interact with any staff members with the exception of them bringing your food.  

The food did come out quick, and any interactions we did have with servers was pleasant.

Although the food at Lockside Camden wasn't extraordinary, it seemed like a very popular place for those who wanted a drink, and we appreciated the fact that we had somewhere clean to sit while eating our lunch.

Visit London: Bubble Mania

Shortly after arrival in Camden, we stumbled upon Bubble Mania, which specializes in Bubble Tea and Bubble Waffles. We love foods on a stick, so the kids each got a Bubble Waffle on a Stick.

Talk about a decadent treat!

OREO & Nutella

There are all sorts of flavor combinations with all kinds of fun toppings!  They can be quite messy to eat, so they are served in a holder with a fork.

They also have ice cream-filled bubble waffles, but since that's something the kids ate before in Hawai`i, they were very happy to eat the Bubble Waffles on a stick.  

The bubble waffles are made fresh to order, so if there is a lot of people, there will be a wait for the treats, but it's so worth it.

Bubble Mania was definitely a fun food find!
