Buffalo Games' New Pop It! Line

Disclosure: Complimentary product was received for review purposes.

I had no idea Pop It! was a thing until I received one to review with my son last year.  Turns out this highly addictive toy comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, and themes.  People play with them, fidget with them, and even make crafts and food with them!

Now, you can get new licensed Pop It!s from some of your favorite shows!

Now available from Buffalo Games is the Waffle and Demogorgon from Netflix’s Stranger Things, new colors for Star Wars’ Grogu (glows in the dark!) and Darth Vader, and Marvel’s Spider-Man and Iron Man.

We were fortunate to get an Iron Man and Waffle Pop It!

My son has watched Stranger Things and is a fan of all things Marvel, so this was perfect for him!

He loves just playing with the toy himself (great for fidgeting and anxiety), but he also enjoys playing popping games against me (because he almost always wins).

You can get really creative with Pop It!  You can make your own games or conjure up something crafty, but simply sitting and popping the bubbles can be very calming.

I can't wait to see what new themes are released, as this fun trend seems to keep going and going (I just went to a store and saw a huge display of just Pop It!s - the variety was just mind-blowing!).

The new licensed releases are available exclusively at Target (online and in stores).  Collect them all!

Happy popping!

Babble Otto Review

Disclosure: Complimentary product was received for review purposes.

Minions: The Rise of Gru doesn't hit theaters until next summer (7/1/22), but that doesn't mean you have to wait to have some Minion fun!

Free the Fun now with Illumination's super fun minion toys!

My son received the Babble Otto, and we both immediately got a kick out of all of his expressions.

Otto, a new character from Minions: The Rise of Gru, babbles and sings as you move him around or place a stone in his pocket.

His reactions are the funniest, and it's just the cutest as he sings himself to sleep.

There are nine different ways to play with this interactive toy, and over 20 sounds and phrases that come out of the cute little guy as he lights up. Flip him, turn him upside down, shake him - simply move Otto in all sorts of directions and see what happens!

You can find Babble Otto on Amazon.com.

We’re Gobbling Up Keiki Kaukau’s New Toys

Disclosure: Complimentary product was received for review purposes. All opinions are entirely my own.

In this house we’re alllll about the kau kau — whether real or imaginary.

So get your hashi ready. Because anyone with little ones will be eating up these ADORABLE new products by Keiki Kaukau.

Since they launched in 2019 with their adorable (and popular!) Keiki Kaukau Wooden Play Food Set they’ve expanded their line to include a number of other wooden toys tailored to local keiki and their ohana.

Not only are these products well-made (E was gifted the Keiki Kaukau Wooden Play Food Set for Christmas and it has survived him and two foster puppies!) but they support local. Yes, the owner is a Hawaii mom who has designed these products with quality, eco-friendly wood and non-toxic paint.

We were gifted the Filipino Food Chunky Puzzle ($24) and Japanese Bento Chunky Puzzle ($24). These are actually E’s first puzzles and in the few days he’s had them he loves trying to fit them into their correct spaces and actually can be found holding the fork and spoon from the Filipino Food puzzle clasped in his little hands.

If you’re looking for Christmas gift ideas that little ones will love and support a Hawaii small business look no further! I’m already thinking of what I can pick up for all the babies on my gift list.

Bunch O Balloons

A few years ago, when I saw the commercials for Bunch O Balloons, I was skeptical.  It wasn't until a recent water play day did I actually see for myself how they worked.  I bought a couple of packages of Bunch O Balloons from Walmart, and a friend also brought over a huge package of Bunch O Balloons.

The claim on the package is that you can fill 100 balloons in 60 seconds.  Although we didn't test out that claim, the Bunch O Balloons sure made a water play day so much more fun.

No struggling with the water hose to fill up each individual water balloon.  No struggling with tying the water balloons.

Simply connect the balloons to the hose, fill them up, shake them off, and they are self-tied and ready to be tossed and thrown!

You can see a quick snippet on our Instagram here of the kids filling up the water balloons.  Yes - it's so easy, the kids can do it themselves!

They did get a little impatient sometimes, shaking off the balloons too early, and they would end up too small, but overall, the Bunch O Balloons were just so easy to use!

We'll definitely be buying more Bunch O Balloons this summer!
