Visit Pennsylvania: Two Rivers Brewing Company

While in Easton, PA, we stopped at Two Rivers Brewing Company for a quick bite for lunch.

Pulled Pork Poutine
I LOVE Poutine (French fries and gravy - so yummy!!), so my husband and I shared the Pulled Pork Poutine.  The pork was beer-braised, and I could really taste the beer.  BBQ Bourbon Sauce topped the fries, rather than gravy, but it was still good.

Kids meals are a deal at just $6, and include 1 side and a drink.

Service was excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to dine at Two Rivers Brewing Company again!

Visit Pennsylvania: Bank Street Creamery

While walking back to our car in Easton, PA, we stumbled upon a sign for Bank Street Creamery, and couldn't resist.

This charming ice cream shop, located on an equally charming street, offers handcrafted, premium ice cream in traditional and local flavors.

SCP
I ordered the SCP - a local favorite. SCP stands for Salted Caramel Praline.  I ordered it in a pretzel cone.

Amazing.

I love salted caramel, and together with the pralines, it was so delicious.  It was even better in the pretzel cone!
Cookies N' Cream
One of my sons ordered a traditional fave - Cookies N' Cream!
Hot Cocoa
Two of my kids ordered a Hot Cocoa, to which the employee gave me a puzzled look - "Hot cocoa?"  Apparently the weather was too "warm" for hot cocoa, but at a cool 70 degrees, my kids thought otherwise.

Bank Street Creamery was a great find for ice cream!

Visit Pennsylvania: Crayola Experience

It's hard to imagine a childhood without Crayola. From first drawings to class projects, Crayola crayons, markers, and paints help to bring a child's creativity and imagination to life.

We made a visit to the Crayola Experience in Easton, Pennsylvania, where kids (and grown-ups!) can experience the magic of Crayola through a variety of fun, interactive exhibits.

The 65,000 square-foot facility includes 28 hands-on attractions, allowing kids to color, create, build, and play.

They did a lot of fun things with melted crayons!

In Melt & Mold, the kids made a car!

They painted with melted crayons in Melt Down.

In Drip Art, they created cool art!
One of their favorite activities was Wrap It Up!, where they could customize their own crayon label and use a special machine to wrap the crayons.

The kids also enjoyed Modeling Madness, where they could sculpture with Model Magic.

Tokens are required for both Modeling Madness and Wrap It Up!  Each guest is given two tokens with admission, which can be used at these attractions, and more tokens can be purchased if you want to create more crayons or want to get more colors of Model Magic.

Another fave was Art Alive!, where the kiddos colored sea animals on tablets and watched them come to life on a wall projected with art!

Other highlights included Cool Moves, where crayons on screen mimicked the kids' movements, Rainbow Rain, where the kids got to play in "virtual wax rain," and the Adventure Lab, where the kids helped solve puzzles in an interactive room.

At the Crayola Experience, there's also a playground, water play, a huge crayon caddy, a giant crayon, and so much more!

In addition to all the entertaining activities, Crayola Experience is educational too, as different exhibits help to explain the science of color.

Don't leave the Crayola Experience without visiting the Crayola Store!  You'll find all sorts of cool Crayola products, and you can even create your own set of markers and crayons.
I couldn't resist these Crayola candy bars!

The Crayola Experience was such a neat place to visit, and definitely provided the kids a fun and colorful way to explore and play.
