New (to Me) at CPK

Although we did a take-out order from CPK a few months ago, it's been a long while since I've dined in.  On the menu were two new-to-me items which I tried:

Braised Short Rib Ragu

The Braised Short Rib Ragu included pappardelle pasta, which is one of my favorite types of pastas.  I added on mushrooms for a bit more umami.  The short rib was so tender, but the sauce itself was a bit underseasoned.  The pasta was perfectly cooked! 

Mini Butter Cake Flight

I originally was going to get Butter Cake until I saw they were offering a Mini Butter Cake Flight.  There are four options to choose from: Dark Chocolate & Brownie Crumble, Fresh Strawberries in Puree, Smoked Bacon & Maple, and Classic.  The flight comes with ice cream and whipped cream.    

We opted for the non-classic flavors.  My fave was the Dark Chocolate & Brownie, primarily because I love the CPK Brownie (available on the kids menu).  It's so rich and fudgy!

CPK Bundle

We had some California Pizza Kitchen gift cards, so we decided to use them towards a CPK Bundle.  They have a few bundles to choose from, and we opted for The OG Pizza & Salad, which included a full size Caesar, and three pizzas (The Original BBQ Chicken, Thai Chicken, Pepperoni, or Traditional Cheese Pizza).

We opted for The Original BBQ Chicken, Thai Chicken, and Pepperoni.

We also did an add-on for Butter Cake for $8.00 (not pictured).

You can also upgrade your salad to a full-size Italian Chopped or Thai Crunch Salad for $3.00.

If we had ordered everything a la carte, it would've been $17 more!

I thought it was a nice deal to feed our family!
