Butcher & Bird

A few weeks ago I went to Butcher & Bird, which recently opened up at SALT at Our Kaka`ako.

Not only can you get a variety of specialty meats at this full-service butcher shop, but you can also get some tasty eats from the deli!

Chorizo

Chopped Pork
The Chopped Pork was my fave of the two items we ordered.  Smoked pork shoulder, house BBQ sauce, and slaw made for a very tasty sandwich. 

The Chorizo was topped with corn relish, Cotija cheese, picante crema, and cilantro.  I thought the chorizo itself was good and packed with flavor.  

Next time I hope to pick up some meats so I can cook them at home!
