Visit Alaska: Chair 5

There weren't too many dining options when we were in Girdwood.  Luckily, the one we ended up at - Chair 5, turned out to be pretty good.
Chair 5 House Pizza
The Chair 5 House Pizza was topped with Canadian bacon, pepperoni, red onions, olives, mushrooms, and green peppers.
Alaska Wild Game Burger
The Alaska Wild Game Burger consisted of elk, bison, wagyu beef, and wild boar.

Bavarian Pretzel

Elote

Roasted Potato Pizza
The Roasted Potato Pizza was topped with red and gold home fried potatoes, bacon, sour cream, red and green onions, tomatoes, pepperoni, garlic, fresh parsley, and cheddar cheese. It was so good, and the crust was the perfect combo of crispy and chewy.

Our service experience was fine, but I did see guests enter and not be acknowledged by passing servers for a few minutes, and I also witnessed one gentleman sit at the bar and not be acknowledged at all by the staff.  He eventually walked out.

Although Chair 5 is more like a dive bar, there were several families there - probably because there is not much else in the area to consider.  We enjoyed the food, and as mentioned, our service experience was fine, but I did notice some service lapses, so keep that in mind if you decide to go.
