Visit London: Abbey Road Studios & Crosswalk

Whether or not you're a Beatles fan, a visit to the Abbey Road Studios & Crosswalk in London is a glimpse of an iconic moment in music history.  

The best way to find the famous crosswalk is to plug in directions for Abbey Road Studios, as "Abbey Road Crosswalk" on a map app may take you somewhere else (like it did to us).

The crosswalk is right near the studios. 

There were people who would cross back and forth to get the perfect photo (or video) snapped to recreate the Abbey Road album cover.

It is a working crosswalk, so cars do traverse the street, and they patiently wait as tourists cross the street.

After trying to recreate the Beatles album cover, we went over to the Abbey Studios wall, where people write notes (it's encouraged by Abbey Road Studios).


We then went into the Abbey Road Studios gift shop to buy some souvenirs.  

It was a neat glimpse of music history.
