Visit New Orleans: Smoothie King

We had been eating so much ice cream and looking for a healthier alternative. We noticed Smoothie King emblazoned on an arena, so when I found a location as we were driving, we decided to stop in.

Founded in Louisiana, Smoothie King offers healthy smoothies using whole and organic fruit, and no added sugars, high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, and other "no-nos" as listed on their website.

Peanut Power Plus Chocolate

The Peanut Power Plus Chocolate included bananas, peanut butter, dates, nonfat milk, cocoa, and a protein blend.
Power Punch Plus

The Power Punch Plus consisted of bananas, strawberries, turbinado, and a nutrient blend.

Smoothie King offers a number of smoothies to fit your preference.  They have various blends targeted to those who prefer keto, protein, vegan, immunity-building, and more.  The menu is quite extensive, and they even have kid blends!

The kids loved the smoothies, and they were a healthy and refreshing treat!
