Visit Hilo: Tacos Jalisco

I really liked Tacos Jalisco's Nachos the first time I visited, so I knew I wanted to order the same thing on a recent visit.

Nachos

Unfortunately, on this visit, the Nachos were not as great as the first time.  The guacamole looked very unappetizing - in fact the entire plate was unappetizing (especially compared to the pic of the Nachos on my first visit), and the chips were super soggy.

Birria Tacos

I should have gone for the Birria Tacos, like my friend did.  They looked absolutely delish, and he said they were really good (although he also said the broth could've used some work).

Fish Taco

He also got a Fish Taco, which he said was just "okay."

If I go back, I'm crossing my fingers they have Birria Tacos, but I would also give the Nachos another try.  They were really, really good the first time I ordered them, and I'm hoping the Nachos from this visit was not reflective of the norm.
