Visit San Antonio: The San Antonio River Walk

The San Antonio River Walk is a must-visit if you're visiting nearby.  Even though I knew it would be filled with tourists, I definitely wanted to visit and see this iconic landmark.

The San Antonio River Walk spans 15 miles, and is lined with numerous shops and restaurants.

There are parts of the walk that are jam-packed with tourists.  These spots are where the shops and restaurants are (we ate ice cream at Justin's).

There are some parts that are not crowded at all, allowing for a peaceful walk along the river.

You can people-watch, shop for souvenirs, eat lunch along the river, watch the ducks swim by, or you can even take boat rides on the river, but I did not want to be crammed in with a bunch of strangers while still in the middle of a pandemic.

At Christmas time, lights don the trees, and I can only imagine what a magical sight it is.

There are numerous structures or parking meters nearby.
