Aloha Cones

Aloha Cones is one of my favorite places for take-out poke bowls, salads, and other local plates. Poke bowls are served with fresh poke or sashimi on a bed of premium sushi rice, with cucumbers, ocean salad, and crab salad. In my opinion, they make THE BEST crab salad in town!

In addition to their regular menu, they have special plate lunches that vary daily. Today they had a ginger marinated chicken karaage plate that I could not pass up. It included local greens, sushi rice, crab salad, and a garlic-umami aioli.  It was amazing!  The chicken was lightly breaded and moist. The aioli sauce gave the chicken a lot of flavor.

Visit their website for more information. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.  Free parking is located in the back of the building (enter from Houghtailing Street).
