Visit Hilo: Pho 19

There are not many places that open beyond 7p or 730p in Hilo, so my options for dinner when I arrived one evening after 7p were very few.  After searching online for a long time, I finally found Pho 19 was open until 830p (they took over the Yoon's spot).

Spring Rolls

Spring Rolls are always a must at Vietnamese spots.  These were delish!

Chicken Spring Roll Cold Noodle Salad

The Chicken Spring Roll Salad was enormous.  Unfortunately, they forgot the dressing, but my friend just whipped some up of his own.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the Pork Bahn Mi come with fries.  My friend was disappointed that there was very little pork in the sandwich, however.
Roast Pork Banh Mi

I loved the Beef Stew. Although next time I will ask for a side of rice, the stew was so delicious. The meat was tender and the broth so tasty!

We appreciated the flavors and how they did not skimp on the garnishes.
