Elf-on-the-Shelf Cereal Cookies

I bought a box of Elf-on-the-Shelf Cereal a couple of months ago, and since it was still unopened, I decided to make some cookies with it. I simply used the Fruity Pebbles Cookies recipe and used the Elf-on-the-Shelf Cereal instead of Fruity Pebbles.

Elf-on-the-Shelf Cereal Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 3/4 c butter, softened
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c Elf-on-the-Shelf Cereal Cookies

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in vanilla and eggs.
  • Mix in flour mixture.
  • Mix in cereal.
  • Roll 2 T of dough into balls and place on parchment-lined cookie sheet. Add extra cereal to the outside of the balls if you wish.
  • Bake for 10-13.
