The Start of Summer

Today marks the official first day of "summer break."  My youngest's last virtual class was yesterday (my older two finished nearly two weeks ago).

Although all of my kids have been doing assignments through google classroom, attending webex classes, and working on other school projects, they definitely loved being at home, and being able to play on their phones or gaming consoles whenever the mood struck (which was often!).

Usually we'd go on a trip during the summer, but with me still wary about going to the beach or even having any kind of small gathering, it will feel like more of the same from the past two months.

Do you have any plans for summer?

  1. We cancelled a vacation to Switzerland and Germany on July. We are working on Plan C for that.
We are also hoping and praying we can visit your beautiful state at the end of September. If not, we will try again next year.
