Shoyu Mayo

I never heard of Shoyu Mayo until Chef Brian of Na`au mentioned it when he suggested I serve the Tempura Okra with it.

In fact, I was even more surprised that it's a "thing" - so many people commented that they would eat that sauce / dressing growing up, with all sorts of foods.

I made it again to dip some green beans in, and I must say, now I'm hooked!

You simply combine 1/2 c mayo with 3 T shoyu (adjust to taste), and mix until smooth!

Some people have also said to add furikake, fresh cracked pepper, or sesame oil (I tried it with sesame oil, and I preferred it without).

Shoyu mayo is a quick and easy dip or dressing for veggies!
