Visit Maui: Lineage

Lineage is one of my favorite restaurants on Maui.  Each time I've visited Maui since they opened in 2018, I've dined at Lineage.

They recently launched a new menu, and we got to try out a couple of the new items, as well as enjoy some familiar faves.

Chicharon with SLAB
I love chicharon with shots of SLAB chili pepper water.  Try it if you haven't already!
Steamed Clams
My friends loved the clams, which were served with lap cheong, XO butter, and focaccia.
Smoke Meat
The Smoke Meat is a favorite of mine.  Consisting of Lopes Farm Pork, kabocha, broccolini, and sweet onion - I could easily eat the entire dish myself and be happy.
Lamb Caldetera
Niihau Lamb is utilized in this spicy dish.  I loved the chow fun noodles!
Musubi
Another favorite is the Musubi.  It's like the popular SPAM musubi, but way better.

Poi Mochi
The Poi Mochi is another must-try at Lineage.  Served atop a shio koji chicken liver pate, the mochi is dipped into the accompanying furikake.  Be prepared to try and restrain yourself from eating the entire dish by yourself.

I love Lineage - the elevated comfort food, the new twists on local faves, and the inventive dishes with roots in local customs and culture.

Service is always friendly and efficient at Lineage.

I already can't wait for my next trip to Maui!
