Visit California: Disneyland Park

We used to be Disneyland Resort annual passholders until we started our 50-state adventure four years ago, visiting Disneyland Resort multiple times a year.

After such a long break, I knew my kids would be excited to revisit Disneyland Resort.  Even though my kids are older now, the magic never dies.

The one thing I was really excited to do at Disneyland Park was step into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  It really is such a surreal experience!

Of course, we had many favorite rides that we couldn't wait to get on again, such as "it's a small world," Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (I can never beat my kids!), Dumbo the Flying Elephant (I appreciate that the guests are now assigned numbers to specific elephants), and Haunted Mansion Holiday.

My oldest son LOVES Hyperspace Mountain (we rode it multiple times!), and my younger two kids love the Mad Tea Party (only because they get a kick out of seeing me squirm since I don't like spinning rides).
Of all the Space Mountain themes I've experienced, the Hypserspace Mountain is my favorite.  I loved the Star Wars elements!

Star Tours has since changed from my last visit as well.  Star Tours - The Adventures Continue is even more exciting!

We visited during Halloween Time, a very fun and festive time of year, with characters in costume, and plenty of seasonal treats at various eateries!

There's no shortage of Disney magic no matter where you are in the park.  It's hard not to get excited whenever you see Mickey Mouse, Sleeping Beauty's Castle, or even a gigantic bundle of colorful balloons.

My favorite part about visiting Disneyland Resort is the Fireworks Show.  There is currently a Halloween Time show which is just so much fun.  The fireworks always dazzles and delights!
Mid-September turned out to be a great time to visit.  Although it was still quite warm, fortunately the lines were not too outrageously long.  And for those popular rides that do have a consistently long wait, the Disney MaxPass makes it easy to get fast passes to some sought-after attractions, as well as get unlimited access to your photos.  I highly recommended purchasing the MaxPass!

No matter what time of year you visit, there is no doubt you will be filled with awe and wonder through the the magic of Disney.

Mahalo to Disneyland Resort for the complimentary tickets.
