Visit Minneapolis: Dutchman's Deck Adventure Course

I'm known to be quite adventurous. I've gone ziplining, bungee jumping, and even powered hang gliding. My kids have never shown much interest in doing anything quite adventurous, and I thought they never would, but they proved me wrong at Dutchman's Deck Adventure Course at Mall of America.

The Dutchman's Deck offers the Ghostly Gangplank, a Sky Trail ropes course (the tallest in the world - 56-feet above Nickelodeon Universe!), an Anchor Drop spiral slide, and the Barnacle Blast, the longest indoor zip line in North America.

My sons ended up skipping out on the Barnacle Blast, but they all did the Ghostly Gangplank and Anchor Drop.

I was so proud of all of my kids for conquering their fears and going through the Ghostly Gangplank Sky Trail ropes course.

They traversed balance beams, rickety bridges, tension ropes, and more.

They sure went up high!

It took a lot of effort, balance, coordination, and of course, bravery, but the kids did such an amazing job, and they really enjoyed it!

After completion of the ropes course, they go down a twisty slide!
They liked the slide so much, that they walked up the spiral stair case again and again just so they could slide down again and again!

The staff members really take their time to address safety and ensure everyone is properly outfitted in the necessary gear to safely experience the adventure course.

The Dutchman's Deck Adventure Course is definitely a great experience for the kiddos!
