The Lanai @ Ala Moana Center

I finally visited The Lanai @ Ala Moana Center, a food court-style space with several different eateries, perfect for grab-and-go meals, or a quick, casual bite.

Melissa, Yumi, and I went there after an event, and we all stood in line at Seoul Mix 2.0.  All I wanted was the Soul Fries - fries with kimchi, cheese, aioli, and other yummy toppings. But they were out of fries!!  I decided I would order a Bibim Stack, which includes rice, japchae, choice of meat, and 5 sides all for $10.95.

But the service was way too slow, and we were standing in line for way too long.  Yumi, however, had patience, and ordered the Spicy BBQ Pork Bibim Stack.

It sure was a lot of food!

Melissa and I decided to go to the neighboring Musubi Cafe Iyasumi.

She got a musubi, while I got the Spicy Fried Chicken Bowl, which comes with miso soup and kimchi - all for under $5!
I've had this dish before at one of the Waikiki locations, and it's really good.

Hopefully next time I visit The Lanai I'll get to try other eateries!
