Visit Hilo: Da Hawaiian Brain Freeze Shave Ice and Ice Cream

While in Hilo, a friend took me to Da Hawaiian Brain Freeze Shave Ice and Ice Cream, since I was craving ice cream.

Da Hawaiian Brain Freeze Shave Ice and Ice Cream offers an abundance of flavors to choose from, and you are welcome to sample any of them.  I ended up choosing the Hawaiian Mud Pie. 

The only time I will ever willingly eat anything coffee-flavored is if it's combined with chocolate in a sweet treat, and the Hawaiian Mud Pie did not disappoint.  So creamy and delish!

The Hilo-made ice cream was so yummy, and the servings were generous!

Da Hawaiian Brain Freeze Shave Ice and Ice Cream also offers shakes, smoothies, hurricanes, sundaes, and ice cream floats.  

Service was very friendly, and I'm eager to go back and try more ice cream flavors.
