Freddie for a Day at Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu

I had no idea that Freddie for a Day existed until my friend Kelli invited me to tag along with her to a Freddie for a Day breakfast event at Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu.

Freddie for a Day is a global HIV/AIDS fundraising and awareness campaign, which supports the Mercury Phoenix Trust, and recognizes the life of Freddie Mercury.

At Hard Rock Honolulu, Freddie was honored on his birthday, September 5, with wearable mustaches and pins for sale to benefit the Mercury Phoenix Trust.  Live music, birthday cake, and giveaways were part of the celebration.

Media were treated to breakfast faves, donned mustaches, and took selfies.

Don't miss out on next year's celebration!
