PAI Honolulu Now Open for Lunch

PAI Honolulu officially launched their lunch service today. Gem and I were excited to check it out!

PAI Honolulu is located on the first floor Atrium level of Harbor Court in downtown Honolulu. For those commuting to this restaurant, park in the building (entrance off of Bethel Street), as they have municipal rates (.$75 per hour for the first two hours) which is very reasonable compared to non-municipal parking lots in the area.

The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar.  There is also a Chef's Table for customers who want to experience the Tasting Menu during dinner service.

When it came time to order, I was torn between the 90 day dry aged beef burger and the smoked brisket sandwich. I chose the brisket sandwich, which was amazing. It was stuffed with Southern-spiced-rubbed brisket that was slow-cooked for 12 hours. Be prepared to get your hands dirty for this one.

Gem ordered the PAI Charcuterie sandwich, which she said was really good.  We both marveled at the house-mad ciabatta bread that our sandwiches were made of.  The house-made chips were really good too - I wish they gave more. :)

We both only ate half of our sandwiches because we wanted to save room for dessert. We ordered both dessert items (Sticky Cake and Vanilla Biscotti) to share and wiped the plates clean. While neither of us are big fans of biscotti in general, we fell in love with the Vanilla Biscotti!

We both already want to return to try other items on the lunch menu, including that 90 day dry aged beef burger!
