Visit Tokyo: Cherry Blossoms at Asukayama Park

One of my favorite places to view the cherry blossoms in Japan was Asukayama Park.

Cherry blossom trees lined several walking paths, and when the wind blew, it was as if it were snowing! With over 600 trees, this park is a great place for hanami, as people picnic under the blooms and stroll along the paths.

The crowd was very minimal, which was nice.

And my kids loved Asukayama Park too, primarily because of the huge playground!

There are restrooms, a food stand, and vending machines onsite.
