New in Pearl City: Icy Bubble

My daughter has been wanting to try rolled ice cream for awhile now so it was perfect timing when I heard Icy Bubble had opened up shop next to Kozo Sushi in Pearl City.  The shop is large and bright with a good number of tables.

To be honest, we stared at the menu board for quite awhile as it was a bit overwhelming for us.  My daughter didn't want one of their signature ice cream roll selections so she decided to customize her own which took some time and Q&A from the cashier.  For $7.50, you start by choosing one flavor base, two toppings, and 1 flavor sauce and whipped cream.

I had a bite of her ice cream and while it was pretty good, my first thought was that it wasn't as creamy as another place I had tried.  My daughter, however, loved it and was especially pleased that her marshmallow topping was roasted.  My milk tea was great and I liked the flavor and texture of the boba, but didn't like the custard pudding I had added.

Also on the menu are smoothies, slushies, and shave ice!  They are open daily from 10:30am to 10pm!
