Visit Big Island: Village Burger

Several people, included Nadia, recommended we visit Village Burger when we were on the Big Island.

Even though I don't eat burgers, I was game, since I saw online they offered alternative options.
Hamakua Mushroom Burger
I decided to get the Hamakua Mushroom Burger with Bacon.  I was hoping it would taste like a portobello burger, which I love, but I thought the burger, comprised of a mixture of ali`i, shiitake, and button mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, rosemary, and scallions, was a little dry, and flavor-wise, just okay.  Next time I'll try the Waipio Taro Burger!

I loved the Truffle Fries (especially with Wasabi mayo), and everyone else in the family enjoyed the burgers they ordered.
