Sato's Okazuya

It's been a very long time since I've had fried noodles from Sato's Okazuya.

Potato Tempura
We arrived mid-morning, and the entire time we were at Sato's there was a steady stream of customers ordering fried noodles and whatever okazu items were left (the shrimp tempura is very popular!).

I paid for my order, and since I knew my boys were hungry, I decided to let them eat the Potato Tempura in the restaurant before we went to drop off some of the food I bought for a relative.

As my boys were eating, one of the employees came out with two bowls of fried noodles for them to eat!  She told me not to open my plate of fried noodles, and instead let them eat the two bowls of noodles she brought out.  What a nice gesture!  That was so sweet of her!

Of course, we all loved the fried noodles- full of flavor, and topped with char siu, green onions. It's definitely some of the best on the island!

Go to Sato's early if you want okazu items (or call it in early)!
