Dana's Restaurant & Catering Now Open in Waipahu

Dana's Restaurant & Catering recently opened up in Waipahu, and over the weekend I had a chance to try a few of their specialties.

Ahi Poke Nachos

Fried Calamari
The highlight was the Kamayan feast.  There are two Kamayan sets available - Kamayan A: Shrimp, Tilapia or Panpano, Longaniza, Lechon Kawali, Shanghai or Kamayan B: Mussels, Calamari, Crab, Tilapia or Panpano, Shrimp.

In a typical Kamayan feast, no utensils are needed - people just dig in with their hands!

Dana's Restaurant and Catering has a Halo-Halo Station so you can create your own delectable treat!

Dana's Restaurant & Catering also offers both Filipino and American breakfast options, in addition to Filipino specialties and local faves for lunch and dinner.  And it's BYOB!

I can't wait to return with the family (they do have a kids menu!).
