Sweet & Savory Popcorn Recipes

I enjoy eating popcorn.  My "usual" way to enjoy it is with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkling of sea salt.  Sometimes I'll add a little Parmesan cheese, or a dash or two of hot sauce.  If I'm at the movies, buttered popcorn with kaki mochi is a must.

After making the Miso Butter Furikake Corn, I thought the butter and toppings would make a great popcorn topping!

It was so good! Simply combine 1/4 c melted butter with 1 T miso, drizzle on popcorn (about 2-3 cups), and sprinkle on furikake.

Several weeks later, I read in a magazine that another way to flavor your popcorn is with melted butter and ramen seasoning.

I tried this with 1/4 c melted butter and 1/3 packet kimchi ramen seasoning on 2-3 cups of popcorn.

This was surprisingly good!

Lastly, I once made a Sweet Popcorn - Cookies and Cream!

I simply melted two squares of almond bark and drizzled on 2 to 3 cups of popcorn.  I then sprinkled on 1/4 c of crushed OREOs.

I thought it was yummy, but I prefer savory over sweet flavors when it comes to popcorn.

I can't wait to experiment with more flavors!
