Eating House 1849 - Waikiki

After such a fabulous dining experience at Eating House 1849 in Kapolei, I was eager to dine at the Eating House 1849 location at the International Market Place.

I decided to try the signature ramen bowl.  I was not expecting it to be so huge!  The gigantic bowl of ramen included a soft egg, shoyu pork, and shrimp dumplings, all in a rich sesame broth.  It was very delicious, and I encouraged my husband to wrap up half of his burger and take it home so he could help me eat the rest of the ramen (he loved both the burger and the ramen, by the way).

The Burger was gigantic as well, as it was topped with Bacon Jam, Ewa Onion Rings, Mushrooms, and Avocado.

For dessert, my husband and I shared the Pineapple Upside Down Cake.  I had it once before at Roy's Waikiki, and it was so good, I had to order it again.

The Keiki Menu offers a starter, entree, and dessert for a set price.

Starter - Cheesy Quesadilla Triangles, Apples Carrots, & Celery Sticks

Keiki Big Island Beef Burger

Keiki Hibachi Grilled Salmon
Keiki Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce

Keiki dessert - Ice Cream Sandwich
The keiki meals looked so good! My middle son ordered the salmon, and he ate up everything so quickly - even the asparagus!  And all of my kids were excited when plates of ice cream sandwiches were placed in front of them for dessert.

Everything at Eating House 1849 was fantastic - the service, the food, the ambience.

I love how family-friendly the restaurant is!

Eating House 1849 is a great place for a family meal when in Waikiki!
