The Medical Spa of Hawaii

It's been a little over a year since I had some hyperpigmentation treated so I jumped at the offer from The Medical Spa of Hawaii to try out their excel HR laser on some returning sun spots on my face.

The Medical Spa of Hawaii is located in Haleiwa and open seven days a week making it super convenient.  The Medical Spa is co-owned by two registered nurses and they offer an extensive list of services such as facial rejuvenation and tightening, stretch mark reduction, botox, dermal fillers, as well as hair removal.

I arrived on a Sunday morning and was greeted by Tony who had me fill out some paperwork and chatted with me about the procedure.  The excel HR laser that he would be using is very versatile and capable of offering hair removal as well as treat vascular lesions, skin texture and tightening, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and much more.

Although the excel HR laser gives continuous cooling before, during, and after each laser pulse making the treatment as comfortable as possible, I was still glad that the procedure was quick because each pulse felt like a rubber band snap.  Seven pulses later, I was ready to get on with my day!  The treated area felt like sun burn, but went away as the day went on.

I look forward to sharing my results with you next week!  Stay tuned!

If you would like to learn more from The Medical Spa of Hawaii and other businesses, they will be a part of a Ladies Meet and Greet on February 26, 2017 from 1-3pm at the Adonai Salon, located in the unit in front of the spa.
