Megs Drive In

For a long time now Nat has been telling me to try the Chicken Katsu from Megs Drive In (she even blogged about it last year).

Despite how much I enjoy Chicken Katsu, the one thing that discouraged me from going there is the limited parking.

But one day, on the way home from an appointment with the family, I suggested to my husband that we should order take-out from Megs.  If there was no parking, he could simply drop me off.

I was eager to finally try the Chicken Katsu that Nat has been raving about!

The katsu was just as Nat described it - "ultra crispy and moist."  I really enjoyed the mac salad too.

The portion size was generous, and the price was very reasonable.

My husband ordered a mixed plate of Teri Chicken and Chicken Katsu.  I thought the teri chicken was very tasty.  He was, however, disappointed in the amount of food he got.

One of my sons ordered the Loco Moco, and he really liked it.

Surprisingly, there were several parking spaces open on the day we went!

Although I do still have my faves when it comes to chicken katsu, I did like Megs', and it's a great spot to pick up reasonably-priced plate lunches.
